Ok, it cup of tea time, whilst googling, visit accountant to get tax done, then play with the car, or swear and hit it, both are useful in my books.

all printed. May see if my bro is down from his minesite. Can always bribe him with cheesecake or alcohol. (cheaper than an auto shop)

Isn't there a compatibility mode to run XP in w7?

Had a mate with a early GU and the earthing was BS. He run another strap as per big col and it fixed a few issues

The auto sparkle re earthed the car ( I think that's what he did....he re earthed something with better stuff). Who knows if it made any difference. Only hope there are a few people around melbourne on the 17th dec just in case we need a tow! ( :help:)

Got the call from nissan dealer today, where car is. They checked the maf sensor...low and behold it's apparently the wrong sensor! How you can put a sensor designed for a different car into another is beyond me, but still.
Also , a question for those in the know, can scan tool , that scan rear control modules, be calibrated/designed differently? Reason, sparkies scan tool wouldn't communicate with ours, but the nissans one will. Nissan guy says they are all different and not all will work. Sparkie says it should as he's used it on other patrols with no issues.
As soon as we get the car back and also get the clearview mirrors fixed it is going up to United for a Dyno under load again. Just hope they work Saturdays!

Sitting here at united fuel. Dyno complete and all is running ok. Recommended a Dawes and needle thing and bigger exhaust. Given its a salary packaged car and we have it for 2 more years, we've gone for the Dawes n needle thing to get a bit more power. Fingers crossed we can make it up any hills we come across after picking up the new van.
Thanks @bigcol for your help.
