Just heard from the caryard. Their theory is that the clutch plate may have gotten bent when it was put back together. Hmmmmmmm. Anyway it goes in next Friday, and I am suppose to get it back the following Wednesday, bearing in mind we leave that following Friday to drive to coral bay. Plus, the van is still waiting to get its warantee stuff done on it.
On the good side, its apparently ok for me to be driving around in the car, and supposedly pulling the van to get it to the van shop! My patience is officially gone, roll on tomorrow so I can go shopping at the show !!!

Good news. I got the beast back. Clutch feels like it use to. Noticed a slight shudder......again......... when dropping from 5th to 4th just as I got home. Will check tomorrow and see how it goes. Regardless, I'm going to coral bay on Friday!
What they found was a mangled clutch plate and 3 bolt things sticking up too far on the fly wheel. So, I got another new one. Got told they hadn't seen a clutch like that before. (They must have really screwed up the installation for it to have been that bad, as it was a new one!)

Thanks @dagree . As I told the service guy, regardless on what happens I'm going and he can have the car after we get back. Certainly not missing out on the annual trip to CB and def not missing out on meeting you all! Looking forward to it.
