Big weekend. Ran the reverse camera on the van. Added a fridge fan and modified the top vent to exhaust properly. Added the front bbq bayonet and finished the gas heater line and tested for leaks. Just need to move the gas bottles and call the plumber. Started on my drop Jack extentions. Gotta love this forum for giving you ideas.

Started getting ready for trip, water tanks full, toilet ready, fridge on, tested everything was working, packed stuff in back of ute, beer, American honey, baileys for Mrs mbr. Finished service on ute, replaced drive belts, new k&n air filter, still waiting on front diff sensor thingy (think I may have bumped it with a rock sometime judging by the state of it) but it's only a 5 minute job to fit. Just bought a new uhf I'll have to fit Tuesday night, when I get time.
Also helped get the old fella (aka Dad) home from hospital after just having a double knee replacement on Monday last week. Now I'm ready to go back to work for a couple of days to have a rest.

Friday:
Went to the Perth Caravan and Camping Show. Walked out without buying anything 8-). Mrs Dagree gave me a pat on the back (Haven't told her that I got a few ideas that will cost $'s though

Saturday:
Did the opposite to what @crackacoldie did..... Removed some lawn (Mowed it), trimmed a few branches and disposed of the lot at the local greenie's tip

Today:
Took the daughter and grandson for a day trip to The Pinnacles just out of Cervantes and took a slow drive south back home via the Indian Ocean Road doing a recon of Caravan Parks including Ledge Point Holiday Park which is our next WA Meetup location (Glad we picked this one as it looks like a nice spot with green lawn sites and is far enough away from the coast for the Westerlies we have this time of the year).

Also called in to have a 4WD Bash on the dunes at Lancelin but with the wind and sand storms the Prado would have come home with bare metal panels and no paint :censored:.

A couple of pics of the Prado at The Pinnacles below and one of what the white Prado would have looked like if we went across the dunes ;)

Eventually put a shelf in the boot of the Starcraft hopefully help with the crap.
Went to Masters to get a sprinkler box as a step, they are clearing everything at our local one.. Been there 3 times this week keep coming home with cheap crap.. saw a already made storage box down to $100, thought great put the kids bikes in there... so said I take it was after 5:30.. Rang friend with a van :) she rocks up we move all her work crap into the Disco lift up the box.. 10 cms too high. masters shut now lucky we had a phillips head and a pair of pliers so spend the next hour or so dismantling the shed.
Then spend over a hour putting it back together trying to remember what goes where. Just finished if I left it to tomorrow brain would not remember what screw went where... Was a pain to pull apart and put together of course.

Went back to the Brissie 4X4 show today, used our free (unused) tickets. Now we are nearly $6K lighter.:o

We have ordered an Aeroglass canopy at $3299 (normal price) but has included racks on tracks, worth another $699 so I figured it was a pretty good deal. We liked the style and the finish of the ABS plastic canopy.

We then went to ECB and ordered an alloy bull bar powder coated in hammer tone grey and another $2320 lighter which is a 10% discount.

Final stop was at Opposite Lock & having viewed all their products we came away a pair of Milenco Grand Aero Van Mirrors for $120.

These things should finally dress up the BT50 and improve the looks of the front end that seems to bother some people. :D

Walk in Victoria Park, London, with son daughter-in-law and George, then watched Man U vs Liverpool in a pub near Greenwich, couple of ales, thick cut chips.....
About to eat roast chicken with tarragon, parsley, garlic, butter under skin plus roast potatoes etc.
Off to Istanbul tomorrow.
Not many vans sighted - not unusual for East London I guess!
