We've been rebuilding a rustic shed that was flattened in a wind storm in June.

Can't rush these things....photos when we get a bit further.

We were rudely interrupted on Saturday by two huge storm cells that converged right over us. Very hairy and spectacular for a while but the rebuilt shed held up well. Surprised but very happy to be interrupted....just had to stop and watch with trepidation but a drink or two helped with the anxiety.

We were down around Toowoomba, stopped at my old neighbours place for a visit on Sat and it was 43 degs (Postmans Ridge) and 35 deg in Toowoomba so headed home a day early thankfully, 29 deg there so nice and missed a big arse storm that came thru behind us........ and on Sunday met up with another Victorian, they are still up here in QLD, they never want to go home......

Had a very busy week and weekend, spent all week finishing the landscaping on the house so it can go on the market, finally finished the paving Mrs Cracka has been reminding me about, rolled out turf for the back yard, planted plants and general tidy up.

Left Saturday morning to head back to Newcastle to start the new job tomorrow, stopped overnight at the Big4 in Wagga, nice clean park with large lawned drive through sites. On to Newcastle this morning with a customary stop at the dog on the tucker box.

The run up to Christmas is busy for grand parents. :o Have made a sword and a shield for a grandson and for a grand daughter (no mistake) a billy cart.

Two nights sleep out in the van in the backyard for us, trialled the sleeping arrangements with night time feeds for the baby, give the A/C a good run, tried just about everything we could think of, even had a butterflied lamb on the Weber run off the gas bayonet. Then packed up all the spare spaces, actually am struggling to fill half of the available space.

Even had a couple of swims in the pool, all in all a great weekend, looking forward to hitting the road next friday.

Not a van related weekend but have had a good one so far..... Batching it for a while and had Mr 6 year old grand son staying for an extended sleep over..... Two men in the house and the toilet seat gets left up without any arguments from Nanna or Mum :bounce:

Even did 36 holes with him this afternoon ;)
