we went to a restaurant in the Swan Valley for my Nephews 30th

quite nice really
Elmars in the Valley

anyway, after lunch & drinks & stuff - went to pay

my Nephew had paid for the lot
he said "stuff hiring hall, and then cleaning up - my treat for all today"

was a nice gesture, and well appreciated

Took the new bus on a shakedown run to Bundy on Saturday, hope it's not a sign of things to come as out of 500km 400 were in pouring rain, one thing though the mighty Paj went very well and avg 9lt/100km which is not bad considering the weather and only 1500km on the clock.

Of course I went to the distillery, I'm surprised you even asked.......................................:very_drunk:

You know drover after the counter rotating drive of the CX you may not like the guzzi? As much as l like fine Italian machinery the torque over of the guzzi is not to everybodies taste?

Sounds better than my efforts today.

Sick of am radios not working so grabbed a couple I thought would be easy to fix.

Tested both with new batteries, checked all the wires I could get to, and, Lo and behold, they're both stuffed.

Rubbish man comes tomorrow.

(Must now retrieve the replacement batteries....at least the cricket is over for a while)

Took the van for its first road trip on the weekend. Towed well, considering car was loaded. 14.9l/100 fuel usage. Considering the load on the roof (3 kayaks!) I'm pretty happy with that! Slow trip there and back, I don't think I hit 110km/h. Was back to first gear for 100m or so when I was caught in traffic up Mt Victoria!

The list of mods has grown a bit. Geez thos mattresses are uncomfortable!

Went for a drive with a mate to get a engine for his son's car. Melb to Sanctuary Point and back left at 3am got home 12am :( Feeling it today
He had to pull apart the engine to lift it in the back of his Pathy. I went as he was going to do the trip by himself..I said too long so road trip

Saw the beach for like 20 seconds :) Went through the hills around Kangaroo Valley lucky we had no van on there are some nice hills and bends there. Then I saw some guy with a Expanda coming the other way and wondered if someone from here :)
