Anne and I used the same product outside our bedroom Paul. So far so good. It was there when you and Elaine visited a year ago. The only issue we have is because during winter we have cold and damp it does grow a bit of green mould, but easily cleaned off.Not a weekend job but had to replace the timber on our deck. Cheap treated pine done nearly 10 years ago and now splitting and breaking, a danger to the grandkids playing on it. A trip to Masters found the "Clever Wood" decking for 30% off so we purchased enough to redo all the timber.
Timber had been laid on steel joists so all the old timber had been screwed down so a couple of days was spent unscrewing those that would undo and cutting (grinding) off the ones that wouldn't. Steel had to be wire brushed and painted with rust converterThe new stuff, made from sawdust and recycled plastic bottles and other recycled bits, had a groove down each side that allowed screw clips to clamp each board to each joist without nails or screws on the surface.
Very happy with the finished product, no painting, oiling or staining and guaranteed for 20 years. I'll let you know if it lasts.
