Appreciate the help @Bluey but at any other time would continue with the scheme we had going to get me a site but seeing as Mrs Dagree is currently being looked after by a dedicated crew of nurses and doctors I think the trips from Busselton to Perth for a daily visit could get a bit time consuming!i was just trying to help out david get a site
Certainly was a great weekend. Had been a while since low range had been engaged. Looking forward to the next instalment!!!My weekend turned into a fairly busy one. I finished work on Friday morning and took the van down to Warrnambool for the wife and daughter in the afternoon and myself and the young bloke picked up @Tone and returned to Ballarat. An early start on Saturday we met @Kenshi123 on the outskirts of town and drove down to the Yarra Valley and met up with @cruza driver and @numbez and another couple of blokes then headed for the hills. We drove up through Matlock and engaged low range on some tracks and ended up rolling out the swags just south of Jamieson . On Sunday after a leisurely pack up we went for a drive up to Mt Terrible to check out the new hut which has just been rebuilt. We then parted ways with the group and drove down to Mansfield for lunch then all the way back to Warrnambool (a lazy 550k for the day) After a good nights sleep in the van we packed up in the and left late morning getting home early in the afternoon. Roughly 1500k for the weekend but myself and the young bloke had a ball and can't wait to do it again.
You lucky ducks - have fun you two! Say g'day to Dave and Carmel for us...Van all prepped and checked (one blinker not working, easy fix), truck filled and loaded with chairs, Weber and fishing gear. Got the double kayak mounted on the truck, clears the garage door by the proverbial fly's whatsit. Heading north in the morning, first stop Landsborough for a couple of nights to visit Australia Zoo. 28 years up here and never been to the zoo. Then for some fishing lessons from @Drover and @DRW.
Will do Bill. :nod:You lucky ducks - have fun you two! Say g'day to Dave and Carmel for us...
