Wanted a cheap low voltage fan for the kids bunks. Bought this $5.80 USB fan from Daiso. Going back for a second one!

Not a weekend job but had to replace the timber on our deck. Cheap treated pine done nearly 10 years ago and now splitting and breaking, a danger to the grandkids playing on it. A trip to Masters found the "Clever Wood" decking for 30% off so we purchased enough to redo all the timber.

Timber had been laid on steel joists so all the old timber had been screwed down so a couple of days was spent unscrewing those that would undo and cutting (grinding) off the ones that wouldn't. Steel had to be wire brushed and painted with rust converterThe new stuff, made from sawdust and recycled plastic bottles and other recycled bits, had a groove down each side that allowed screw clips to clamp each board to each joist without nails or screws on the surface.

Very happy with the finished product, no painting, oiling or staining and guaranteed for 20 years. I'll let you know if it lasts. :p

Hope it goes better this time @DRW......

Would have liked to have used that stuff for my new front fence @chartrock but no specials or Masters around here, looks great.....................my new fence is getting done with good old hardwood, still in construction phase may post pics when completed, one big gate and capping to go............looking damn fine so far........5M gateway so gate construction has to be good..............drop saw needs new blade, both circular saws need new blades and my cordless Makita is dead, only a Ryobi and 240v drills left in action, some serious shopping needs to be done............My shed looks like a shed though, wood shavings, saw horses, nail guns, all the good stuff out being used....................................
