Continued work on my outdoor wood fired oven - a project begun 9 years ago!

Long project :D

I built one in my back yard years ago fantastic results, a couple of words of advice though
1) put a larger diameter flue in (stops the front going all black above the door)
2) make sure the next door neighbours tree does not grow up and over the flue as the heat from the flue will set it alight >:( (funny now, but panicked a bit when it happened)

Thanks for the comments! In my case it is a tree in my yard that needs to be trimmed severely....very close at the moment.

We built one a few years ago. I find its a great alternative to a BBQ when you have friends over. I think I have some instructions and parts list around somewhere if you need any more info to help with yours....

Thanks for your offer @MickL. However my behemoth is in the final stages of its build - will post some photos later. Love the colour of your one - I am going to use something similar.
Bill.

Went out to the 4x4 adventure show at Eastern Creek yesterday, first time ever, though this one is mainly pointed at the 4x4/camping market Jayco still got their finger in the pie along with Coromal, but it was definitely all things 4x4 including Roothy, Pat Callinan, Jamie and Rick from the Off Road Adventure show.

thought I'd have a go in the MUX on the Team D-Max Iron Summit Ramp, nothing like having your back and noggin' firmly implanted in the seat as you point sky ward at 45 degress before levelling out ready for the desent as all gravity changes and your feet try to push through the floor and the seat belt is doing its job in trying to stop you head butting the windscreen. :D
Even jumped the queue for the test track by going with the Holden guys for a spin in the new Colorado, guess Holden will nag the crap out of me nowo_O.

So @Bushman you went for a drive in the NEW COLORADO, so the big question is ????? Are the cupholders still high on either end of the dash, easy reach for driver especially ????????

UUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! cant say that I actually noticed:redface-50: there is some in the centre console, one of which doesn't fit a water bottle as the lid of the storage box hangs over but there does seem to be an accessory one that clips to the air vent

Yeah I've had a couple of goes in the MUX on the ramp now ,it is good fun having all that traction. Don't think I'd like to tackle that angle on a gravel track:eek-53:
