Hi guys chasing some advice 'again'.

We r departing the very beautiful Kiama.

We even found a new pet duck who happened to appear at the conclusion of each meal.

Ive been given some pointers on where to stay over the next week or so before crossing the Mexican border. These include;

Ulladalla
Batemans Bay
Merimbula
Eden

Would b great to hear of your experiences at any of the towns (or any others!) and which parks u stayed in.

Thanks again

Well we ve spent a few nights in Batemans Bay. We've decided last minute to venture to Wagga Wagga to c Johnny Diesel perform ;)

So today we did a day trip of some of the NSW south coast from the bay thru to Tilda Tilda and stopping in at some amazing beaches.

One MASSIVE negativity was the toddler bawling his guts out at 5.00 am!! Kids ....

Anyway

Thats funny yet so true :)

Yesterday we travelled to Wagga Wagga and called in to the capital to see parliament house and the war memorial. Both great fun.

We got to Wagga late is and chose the WW Beach Cpark due to its close proximity to the concert we r attending tonight. Its pretty dry here and not sure what the big 4s like but for $$29 cant really complain.

Well new site looks good :)

Hopefully user friendly.

Update since we left Wagga Wagga we ve travelled thru Albury
Wadonga to a little gem of a place called Corowa. Thoroughly enjoyed it. We stayed in the Corowa Caravan Park just out of town. The manager / owner Don was a champion bloke. We eventually stayed for 5 nights. Pool and facilities were good although the park was a little dry, but u expect that in the riverina.

From there we had an overnighter at Swan Hill, big 4 Riverside which looked and was rather flash. Pity about the rain could def have stayed another night.

Next stop was the River gardens tourist park at Gol Gol, just out of Mildura. This place was great. Justin the manager / owner was a champion bloke also. Park had lush green lawns a great amenities. Nice having a dip in both the pool and river. Took a trip out to Wentworth and saw where the Darling and Murray meet. Really weird seeing a clear difference in water colour between the two rivers!!

Def recommend these parks :)

Currently sitting in Kingston On Murray SA with the realisation that our 10 week trip is nearly over :(. Nice spot also, great pool and a short walk to the river.

Our office is all "hot desks", so you end up sitting in a different place each day! Nothing can be put up on the walls as all that is to be on the desks at the end of the day is a phone and monitor for connecting to our laptops :(

Guess for the odd days I am not in the office I can work from the van in the carport - but can't put the top up.

I have an Oz map stuck to the wall of my garage that I have to walk past every time I get in the truck. It has marked on it every trip I have done since I started in 2001. I look at all the black textra lines wandering all over the country and think how great it has been to see all these places and then I see all the unmarked areas and think 'so many places, so little time'.

But it sure is good to get out there sometime and put another black line on it. :eagerness:
