Guys and gals i pulled the fridge out yesterdsy and its at these times i wish the hands of my Asian doctor!

Anyway I "shook the sh*t" out of it as described by @Coastrunner

Unfortunately i ran out of time to check it after reinstalling it!!

Fingers crossed it works when i fire it up next!! Thanks again guys. This site / forum is invaluable for novices like me!!

@Stan Lee I too have done the turn upside down trick with a fridge (not in the van though) and yes it did work for me. left the fridge upside down in total for a few hours, then rotated it upright again, left it settle for a few hours turned it on, bingo, beer fridge back. Pace.

It would be strange that such a new fridge should neen to be flipped. Did it work on any fuel type and was it level? They are getting a pretty good bounce when they are going on a trip.

I know the feeling Stan. Trying to line up a getaway time between my shift work, the wires full time work, the kids weekend work makes time for holidays almost non existent.

All I can say is I`m glad I bought a cover for my van, as I hate to see it weathering out there not getting used.

Hi all

We too part in the Colemans backyard campout last night. Although the "s"expanda is in storage I thought i'd post some pics and overall was a great family night.

We had some guests over and on reflection the backyard looked alot like a camp ground :)

The squids got into the marshmallows on the fire and charades was a real hit!

Anyway hope u r all enjoying the start of summer :)

Hi guys

merry xmas and happy new year to all. Hope u r all enjoying your festive season.

1) re the issues with my fridge ive had it on 240v for 2 days and still nothing!!! I've just lit it on gas and the indicator is suggesting the pilot is on!! So i guess I got to wait over night but not liking my chances!!! Could the compressor be stuffed?? I'm not a fridgy so I have NFI!!! :(

2) I'm also chasing ideas on how u guys go with your pet dogs in pet friendly parks. Our pup is young (7 month old Lab) and full of beans, so we need to keep her on a tight leash so to speak. Do u guys put ur dogs in 'play pen' type structures or cage them??

Any ideas greatly appreciated :)
