No they didn't charge us to change vans, but the total price changed as we swapped a few things around. We are getting the Thetford fridge and the washing machine though. Did your delivery date change? We have just been told it comes out of the factory on the 9/9 and then to allow 3 weeks.

It has for us yes, we have been pushed out to the end of Sept, we where suppose to get our old one half way through Aug.
Hi all.. A bit late in this convo, but glad to see I'm not alone in the waiting game. Had an email yesterday from Jayco Brisbane advising my 18.58-1 is due off line in Melb 9/9, and collection 3 weeks later.
Keen to hear from as many as possible what extras you have all opted for ? And also everyone's views on the club lounge. I'm 50/50 on club lounge v's dinette.

Large solar panel
water filter to mains and all tanks
privacy screen's
fold up main table
picnic table
ESC
show pack(TV and stereo)
curtains to the bunks
and got a weber q 2200 thrown in

I went with the OB version they told me i couldnt get a third water tank. We wont get final confirmation till 6 weeks before our delivery date. but we have been told that the van should be ready before the of Sept. because we are due to go away for a week in the October long weekend.
Yeah that's right. The 18.58-1 only comes with a single tank, so I have added 1. Oh ok, well good luck with it all.

-Extended draw bar
-Show pack - Fusion sound system, windup aerial, TV (we had ordered the 17.56.1 from the Melb show and transferred over)
-Extra double powerpoint to the side of the fridge cabinet near the TV
-Cadel Charcoal Bolster and cushion on the club lounge and small dinette

Hi and thanks for your reply. We are unsure of the club lounge option, however love the idea and look. Just not overly fussed with the small size of the table. I believe if we opt for the dinette, they add a small buffet on entry to the van, behind the first seat. Anyway, some pondering ahead.. haha

Can't wait to see the 18.58.2 in the flesh!! Was just about to order the 17.56 .2 and I'm sure it's a great van but the extra foot won't go astray with 4 kids , I did have concerns about the new 2015 style hard lid but noticed they haven't changed them so must be a good thing. I'm sure they would have addressed this if there was an issue by now as they sis on the full size van. Great to hear jayco has been accommodating to those who wanted to change their order- good stuff.

I am yet to order, I had done all my research had all my mods documented with photos and measurements but have now decided to wait and see the 18 in the flesh. The dealer we had been dealing with sounded a little disapointed when we told him but did conclude by say he understands and he would do the same. So hope fully there will be a little less research and as for mods and additions I now have my list so just need to see what of it is still applicable on the 18. We wre looking at October delivery for the 17 but now the long wait will just have to be a little longer!
Steve, Grant is who we are buying our van through, great guy, he has put up with me and all my changing of models and extras!
