Hi all,

Just wondering if any has been able to get a 3rd water tank fitted when ordering a new 18.58-2 OB? I'd like to, most probably will not need it but would be a nice to have just in case !

Hi All,
Checked out the new 18' in the flesh today.
Ours is due mid November.
A few issues with the dinette seating though. The person sitting nearest the window on both sides has to contend with the wheel arch cutting into their ankle. It effectively means that you can't sit 4 adults or 4 adult sized people at the table at once.
That sux!

The rest of the van I was happy with.
Mind you, anything compared to our 14' 1984 Viscount Grand Tourer would look good.

Oh!! And by the way, we have a 1984 Viscount Grand Tourer for sale!!!!

Just putting it out there!

I was told we couldn't have the 3rd ex Jayco, has to be done afterwards.
Hi Dean, I even suggested a smaller tank if they couldn't fit another 82lt. I only opted for the drifter controller to accomodate a 3rd water tank. If I fitted a 3rd water tank myself, Is there much involved to connect the level sender/float back to the drifter?
Cheers.

Hi Aussiejet,
My wife and I noticed this as soon as we looked at the new 18. We had been really keen on the 17 but waited for the 18 when we heard it had been released in Brisbane.
It's definitely a bummer, but depending on weather we alway sit and eat outside so the added advantages of the extra cupboards and bench space suits us. It's all about comprise, and I agree it sux!

The third defiantly fits. Not to sure if the spare has to be moved or not, cant remember now. I get mine in a week or so. Will be defiantly looking into it. The Drifter is more than capable of taking the 3rd tank. @TTBRIDGE wired my last Drifter and tanks in my 17.56-2, he may be able to give some feed back on what's involved?

The drifter is a electronic measuring system that requires drilling in the tank in an equal 3-4 places to create the level sender.
