Doh! should have looked. great advice though, does this allow you to fold the whole thing up without removing the overlay items.

Thats it mate, everything stays in place, egg shell, woolen and fitted sheet. Folds up easy now.

Well, the van is 2 months old and we have been away 5 times:rockon:

The latest trip, Currarong. This place is a gem, we had the whole caravan park to share with only 3 other campers! Next time we will go for Honeymooners Bay in the military reserve, absolutely stunning.

The great news is the Patrol is staying!!!!!!!!!!!! WOO HOO:love:

Also got to try my new shade wall (thanks again Bushman!)

Shade wall is great, very happy with it.

I just slides into the awning barrel, quick and easy. Not sure if it can be rolled up with the awning.

Can anyone clarify the matter with the mattress. Why did you take a bit out? Which bit did you take out? How did it make it easier to fold up/pack away?

Thanks

hey Moto that shade wall looks good, is it custom made.

Not sure boots, got it off bushman, he had it on his old swan or eagle i think. Its a bit short in length, but will do the job nicely! He may be able to assist in where it came from. The colour matches the van and awning perfectly!

Hey Richard, i removed the skinny strip of foam that is on the front bed only (over the drawbar). The front mattress is a tri fold one, and removing that strip makes life so much easier when packing up. Hope this helps.

Devistated!

Picked our van up o the weekend after a long list of warranty repairs. We were so happy to have everything fixed and working properly, ready for some big trips away in our great little van.

On our way home, we camped overnight in the van, and it poured with rain. Next thing water was trickling in from the cupboard above our bed. We have a leak!!!!!!!

HHHHAAAAA will it ever end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did a bit of investigating and they may have missed a spot with silicon on the front corner above our bed. Normally cover when the roof is down and only exposed when the roof is up. Fingers crossed thats all it is so i dont have to take it back again.

Hey Bud, hope the travels are going well!

Went for the Polaris one with the screen that mounts behind the sun visor. Would have loved the indash/gps model, but then i wouldn't be able to play cassettes on my trusting Nissan tape player. Simon and Garfunkel always sounds better on a tap deck:crazy:

Watch out for those shifty Victorians driving 100 series:tongue:

Here's a few random pics of one of our favorite free camp sites - Oallen Ford. On the Shoalhaven river, 10mins from the famous Nerriga Pub. We used is as a rest stop on our trip back from Canberra the other day.

These crap photos don't do the place justice, it really is a nice spot.

The heavens opened up soon after i took these shots.

This trip was the first time we have left the van attached to the car for an overnighter, something we could never do in our Hawk.
