Annexe looks very nice mate. As @Pace said go the center curved rafter. I once saw a bus awning collapse in a downpour at Denniliquin granted the awning was a lot longer but we use ours even without the annexe if theres a chance of rain.

Kenshi!
Annexe looks great
Baked dinner looks even better

One day I hope to show you pics of my van & annexe all set up with the webber dinner on the table, kayaks, bikes all sitting around the camp site with me in the back ground sipping on a can of Jim Beam actually on holidays, actually having fun and not stuck at work all the time.

Once again, I appreciate your pics. Makes me feel like I`m on a holiday.

Quite pathetic I know!

:):):):)
Nothing pathetic about that mate. I live vicariously through photos on here too. I look forward to seeing your setup soon mate.

Ok. So a few dramas this week...

When I back the expanda in to the site I must have pinched the trailer cord. So much so that it severed one of the wires. (Red one, 8b&s so I assume it was the one to the setec unit to charge batteries). In the process I also managed to blow a fuse in the territory that rendered the DSC and cruise control useless. No biggie.

Luckily the brakes and light wires were all good, so I was able to tow it back home. I borrow my folks' pajero to do the job as I wanted to get the territory fixed before I towed again. I booked the expanda into jayco in two weeks for them to fix it up for me.

My dilemma came from towing with the folks' pajero....it towed really (and I mean REALLY) well. So I beginning to think that it may be worth trading in the territory for a fairly new second hand Pajero....

It would be great to have a 4x4 for our trip to kakadu in 2015... Can we justify the cost....might wait til after Xmas then see where we're at.

Cheers.

Bahaha. Hope you're enjoying your trip to Beaufort mate. Hope the weather improves.
The weather did get a bit better thx mate. Went to Ararat on yesterday and did a tour through Jward and dropped into Greenhill lake for a look, Looks pretty good, I see you stayed there what did you think?

Yeah we did a night there on may. I forgot to take coffee with me so we had to leave early. Lol. Great cheap camp ($5 a night I think). Hot water showers and toilets. Fire pits there too. It was a little cold there that night, but hot water bottles and a few beers fixed that. It is close enough for a quick getaway for us mate. There were a few vans around when we were there, but plenty of space. Will probably go back there when Ebony is a little older.

The shores of Lake Bolac is another free camp I am keen to try.

Glad the weather picked up for ya mate.

Cheers

They do recommend that in the pajero's you upgrade the rear suspension as its quite soft.
