I know this doesn't have much to do with expanda-ism but......I thought that I would share my latest purchase. Just in time for Christmas.

Oh to have a Weber all shiny and new !!! Mine looks terrible but we give it a hiding with a roast every week as well as a pizza night every week as well and bbqs or steak for tea. Looks like crap but still tastes awesome. We hardly use the oven inside now.

Thats the idea mate! We figure that we will be using it a fair bit for roasts, pizzas etc. Gonna give her a crack tonight.

Haven't posted on this thread for a while.

Just took the expanda away for the long weekend with friends. We stayed very close to the Barwon River in a tight, but clean and well kept caravan park. We enjoyed the splendors of fishing, relaxing, swimming and socializing.
Unfortunately, our neighbors were of the unsavory type. Now I am not a perfect person and certainly enjoy letting my hair down, but when we (and other campers near us) had to escort a gentleman to the front of the park to a waiting police car, I drew the line. Such a shame that people feel the need to act like that.
We still had a great weekend though. :)

Haha we did exactly the same thing for Xmas with the weber family q. I notice your panel down the bottom, that hides the gas bottle, is warped as is ours.. Has yours straightened out yet?? Ours finally did. We have the baby q for the van and the family for home. Still use my weber kettle more than any though. Love the coals and smoked timber effect.

You are being kind calling him a gentleman. Pain in the butt getting someone like that next to you!

Yeah mate. He was asking for drugs and we had a young female camper run to our set up shivering in fear. Wasn't pretty. But I'm wasnt gonna let it ruin our weekend either.

Dragged the van to Lakes Entrance for 5 nights. Never been here before, but will surely return. What a lovely place!!! Plan on spending the next few days relaxing, fishing, walking and exploring with the family. Happy days!

Nice neck of the woods @Kenshi123 if you your interested..........
Drive down towards Nowra Nowra and take a look at the Stoney Creek Trestle Bridge and a better link HERE

Its well worth it I reckon, very impressive and its sign posted off the highway on the LHS so easy to find :)

Buchan Caves is well worth a look to if you have time ;)

Thanks heaps for that Cruza! We are planning on visiting the caves on Monday. Will definitely check out the bridge. Great part of the country.

Well...back home now after a wonderful 5 nights away. We were lucky enough to avoid most of the rain that the rest of Victoria seemed to receive while camping. A total of 11 fish were caught; bream and leatherjacket (I think). We will definitely visit the area again, but will probably stay at the Camping and Recreation Reserve as they have sites right on the water and allow the use of fire pits. I even managed to dust off the old nikon while away. The Buchan Caves were fantastic and a must-see if you're in the area. Home now for the next week and then off to Mortlake next Thursday with friends for our annual Easter bash. A fire, good company and good times await.
