Hi All,

Dragged the expanda down to the Grampians for the weekend. (Just because we could!)

We stayed at the Grampians Lakeside Caravan Park - straydingo wrote an excellent review of the park last week.
Surrounded by an abundance of native wildlife, good company, a fire and plenty to eat and drink we had a great couple of nights. Didn't do any bushwalking this time around, although we usually do.
The expanda is performing really well but I am beginning to compile a list of things that need looking at (ie Drawbar tap not working)
The picnic table has been a godsend as has the hot water. Cant believe I camped for so many years without either of these.
We also worked out that if we turn the awning light and door light off and just leave the blue LED lights on at night we get fewer insects attracted to the van.

The next trip is going to be in a fortnight's time. We plan to head to the shores of Lake Bolac for two nights off the grid. In that time I hope to be able to complete a couple of mods that I have been planning.

Cheers

Looks like a great weekend away Kenshi,
How good are the picnic tables! another member (sorry, always forget who) had a pic of their 2 picnic tables side by side in a recent post. What a Great idea, they are so handy! I'd love a second one.
As for the hot water, I'm so jealous, although we don't have shower/toilet, would be nice in the kitchen at the very least.

Hi mate. Yeah you have to pay to hire them though. Worth it IMO. We always try to have a fire when we can. Love it.

Hi all.

Thought that I would share the install of a second battery in the panda.

It took me a little while to track down the one I wanted but I finally had it delivered last week.

Next I had to slightly modify the setec box so that I could slot the battery in. If it weren't for the plumbing being there all would have been easy.

Then just a matter of wiring it all together And changing the settings on the bm1 to 200a/h.

next trip is brooked in for the 18th of may and will be a free camp. Itching to try it out.

Cheers
