Sorry if this has already been posted. On a side note I saw this picture on Prestige Jayco's Facebook page. The photo is of the 2013 outback swan and doesn't she look space age! I actually like the decals but they are very different from the Jaycos of 4-5 years ago.



What do you think?

I think the roof is the same or very similar to the 2012 ones mate. No end view, this is the only one they had.

G'day Brad. Yeah I did ask mate. The reason given was that the Truma model is a little more powerful (2.4Kw as opposed to 2.2Kw?) and a little quieter.

The word I heard was that Jayco had a falling out with Dometic (Which I thought were the standard option?) The 2013's have Thetford Fridges and Toilets...

Wow! Really? I did notice a couple of thetford fridges in the models we looked at. In saying that though ours is getting a dometic fridge. Maybe they still have some in stock?

The Truma model air con is apparently going standard in the 17 foot models too.

Nah mate. Ours is not until April. I think it looks great. The black and grey would look good also.

i noticed that you are having the jockey wheel in the centre of the draw bar!
i also asked for this when i ordered my 17.56.1 and they said they wouldnt do it
did you have any probs getting it?

G'day Pete. Congrats on the 17 mate. Bet you can't wait to pick her up. If anything the dealer was very reluctant to commit to any changes in layout etc, but very eager to request it. I got a lot of " not sure if THEY will do it, but we will try OUR best to convince THEM" if you get my drift. So I guess there is a chance that it won't happen, but the dealer seemed confident. It is a shame that you couldn't get that done mate. Although I reckon you could weld a bracket on the centre if you are handy....unlike me. :violin:

I managed to convince them to put the jockey wheel on the inside of the drawbar.
If they will not do center, perhaps compromise and ask for inside?

where are you from as it was probably the same one!
hope you have better luck, i did try for the inside of draw bar like Brad but still no go!
you have inspired me to call them again though and nag a little.

Not a fan of these decals, but it might grow on me like the new Commodore!

Went and checked out the Ballarat Outdoor Expo today. Had a squiz at the 18foot o/b while I was there. Great looking unit. It had the colours that we picked, so that was kinda cool.
The wife held onto the credit card while I looked around. Good thing too. Some of the boats looked awesome!
