Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts - which brings me to my next comments - just want to say (like others before me) - what a great forum this is - we are mix of a diverse range of people (ages, jobs etc) - we all encourage each other, offer constructive criticism/advice when we can (based on our own individual skills/experiences etc). We manage to do this without descending into the nastiness that appears sometimes on a different general caravan forum that I also read.

Impressions after 24 hours - WOW!
We visited friends for tea last night - they live 5 minutes away - somehow it took us 1 1/2 hours and many km to get there! Went north to Ourimbah, hit the F3, powered up the hill, left the F3 to travel on some pretty ordinary roads above Gosford, rejoined the F3 near Mount White, over Moonee Moonee bridge, Bunnings at West Gosford, then to our friends.
Very impressed with the way it performed.......

Brad and Cracka - no the fuel gauge hasn't moved off full - done about 160km now - consumption now showing at 11.3l/100km - started at 13 - getting lower as the kms increase - computer says I have another 750km to go.
Well noticed Bushman - tow bars are arriving in a week or two - will be installed along with reversing camera at 1000km/1 month free service. Just as well we are not in a position to use the van at the moment.
Check your iPad screen orientation is not locked...the tiny slide switch next to volume control which doubles as a Mute switch. It's activated/deactivated in Settings/General/Use slide switch to...
