Thanks for the replies - I went and had a look at th e Corelle stuff in Big W and really quite liked it, so have bought a set for the van!

First official mod done - installed shampoo and soap dispensers in the shower - got them from Bunnings and I am very pleased with how they look :)

Well we couldn't wait until next weekend for our 'test trip' lol, so we had a campout in our van in the driveway on Saturday night! It was fantastic, and the kids were pretty excited :)

Only issue was I got about 5 minutes sleep all night, as our cat Turbo spent the entire night meowing and wanting to come into the van - he was clearly most put out by us moving into the van for the night :p

I didn't cook in the van, however we ordered pizza and ate it in there on our new Corelle plates - definitely loving the new crockery already!

Hubby put shelves into the wardrobe over the weekend as well, so I now have a lovely big pantry! I will post a couple of pics later if I remember hehe

Ordered a BEST in-line water filter as well, which should arrive later this week. I did notice that when I was running the hot water on Sat night it had a funny smell (kinda like rotten eggs?), so I am hoping the filter will fix this issue.

I was looking at the Corelle range in at Big W today. We had bought a melamine set thinking it would be the safest way to go but I quite like the Corelle too, so think we will be upgrading to this in the near future.

Think ours are the corelle range as the "Boss" got them from BigW also. Will ask next time we talk ;)
She didn't want the melamine set as she was told they weren't microwavable!

We haven't travelled with it yet but I'm really happy with it already! It looks great and being able to use it in the microwave is definitely a plus!

Lol @dagree ! Haven't taken a microwave tent camping before, but have taken plenty of other 'glamping' accessories on past trips! hahaha

Loving being able to use one now though - it will make so much easier, especially with the kids in tow!

Here are a couple of pics of the pantry shelves hubby installed over the weekend - I'm very happy with the result!

We made the bottom shelf a bit higher than the others to fit cereal boxes in there (we are a big cereal eating family lol).

Also went a got an LED sensor light for the fridge - the idea came from this forum, although I cant remember who posted it... But a big thank you to whoever you are - it works a treat and because it attaches with magnets, you simply pull it off in between trips and take the batteries out to store etc :D

You can set it to come on for 10 secs or 60 secs, and according to other posts on the forum, people have had them in their fridges for years and they have not been affected by the cold!

Lol @dagree - where on earth does everything get stored??!! :p

Apparently the Baby Webber does a nice loaf of bread, so I'm looking forward to having a crack at this in the near future!
Breadmaker gets stored in the back of the Prado when travelling... Hmmmm haven't tried doing bread in the babyQ but they make awesome pizza's ;)
