We actually stayed at Skipworth on Thursday night. We got away late so it was 9:15 when we got there and it was raining and the boss wasn't keen on me driving the dirt road to Knockwood reserve so it made sense. About midnight we realised we forgot the spuds so a quick run back into Jamieson was required. We had a quick pot from the Woods Point pub. Gotta love the character of the country pubs.
That area would be a great spot for a get together ... after i get back of course

Just spend a very chilly 4 day/3 night in Bundanoon at the invite of a mate and his caravan club (wants me to join) we camped at the Pony Club grounds good spot with plenty of room and basic amenities, good communal hall with gas heating that came in very handy for getting out of the wind.
Only drawback was all power was only 10 amp which no one knew about till they arrived so it but a strain on the system and regularly failed, fortunately I had but in my amp fibian which I don't normally carry so it allowed me to plug in easily.
Everyone was asked to limit the 240 use were possible, so fridges, water heaters etc. switched to gas
We even managed a surprised morning tea / Birthday cake for the daughters 20th, all in all a pretty good few days with good company.

But Geeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzz could have done with a diesel / gas heater, oh well may have it install for next winter

Went to Halls Gap with @Tone and stayed at Old Man Emu Stay. This place is a terrific spot and at $15 a night with firewood provided it doesn't get much better. I will do a more detailed report when I get a chance.

Prospect Caravan Club, might add we were the youngest there, it's the 3rd time we've been away with them, who ever said nomads go to bed when the sun goes down! Not this lot.
Chloe is 20? :faint:

Yep sure is, though she doesn't look it, Hard to believe myself where does that time go?

Used to know some people from that club, name has slipped from the memory as we haven't seen them in 6 years. He used to work for Telstra and drove a hilux last time I saw them.

Sounds like a good, relaxing trip if you're tweaking tv antennas and such.

How's the wine? I hope you're doing a testing for industry standards.

After the last 3 weekends freecamping this weekend we spoilt ourselves with the weekend at the RACV Resort in Cobram. Appart from some very chilly mornings we had lovely weather and met some new members in @MSSSSI it was nice to meet you Stephanie and Micheal. The park is undergoing some major renovations with more powered sites as well as tent/campertrailer areas and new camp kitchen and toilet blocks. More cabins are being installed as well. They have moved the bmx track and put in an oval with cricket pitch and afl goals one end and soccer goal the other. Will be very nice when all completed and well worth a visit.

Should they have said 75?

Or 45?

Either way, you made the news! How's the bike?

(I've already commiserated about the arm....so not ignoring it)
