We actually stayed at Skipworth on Thursday night. We got away late so it was 9:15 when we got there and it was raining and the boss wasn't keen on me driving the dirt road to Knockwood reserve so it made sense. About midnight we realised we forgot the spuds so a quick run back into Jamieson was required. We had a quick pot from the Woods Point pub. Gotta love the character of the country pubs.Great post @17triton. The Kevington Hotel is great. The guy who used to own the Woods Point store was desperately trying to sell it and worthing as a nurse, i think, in Melb during the week. He used to fill up 44 gal drums of fuel in his trailer from a city servo before heading back to Woods Point on the w/e and then hand pump the fuel into those dirty old bowser tanks. All the locals would drive to Jamieson for their fuelWe actually stayed at Skipworth on Thursday night.
