Spent a lot of this weekend at the Melbourne Convention Centre, including 16 hours yesterday watching the cheer competitions. My girls performed Friday,4 times Saturday and very early today. The club received 1 fifth and 2 firsts an outstanding effort and a very proud Dad. Now to relax and enjoy what Melbourne has to offer before we head home tomorrow afternoon.

Hey @crackacoldie, you wouldn't have had to travel to far to see the different sites of Melbourne...
I believe there may have been something a little alternative going on at the same place as the cheerleading !!

Congrats to the girls as well.

Cheers

Self appointted long weekend ( Friday off) so hitched up and 2 nights at Gerroa/Seven Mile Beach just over the hour from home
In true to from it was overcast and bucketed down as we approached the coast, but stopped on arrival for set up, more rain later in the day and during the night , where you just could help feelling just that little bit sorry for the suckers in their dome tents/tarps :p Yeah right!
Weather clearing to mostly sunny skies for Saturday/Sunday and with a late check out Sunday no need to rush, so down to Berry markets after breakfast, before returning for lunch and gradual pack up.

also met up with other Expanda owner on their first weekend trip with their recently acquired 16-49-3 would said they'd been lurking here on the site but hadn't joined yet.

Just went up to the new Jayco dealership at Newcastle with a mate to get a few things.....it's bloody enormous, very impressed and very well laid out. The new service area looks awesome too with drive in allocated areas for drop off.....absolutely no expense spared on this rebuild! I love the new 20' Expanda with slid out.......bit too heavy for the Paj though!

Spent all day today fighting fires at Shea-oak Log, 1 started by a header and 1 deliberately lit. The header fire threatened what was the "Drover's Run" property from McCloeds Daughters. Thankfully no houses or shed damaged, lots of fencing and crops though.
