We got back form Barwon Heads last week, then i had to work last weekend, this week has been running around with the family for school holidays, for some reason this term break seemed really long.
This weekend was washing up the van from the trip away, then we had too use the van bathroom as the house hot water unit blew up (convenience of having bathroom in your own van, ahhhhhhh).

Really didn't that extra unexpected bill too of replacing the hot water unit too. Pace.

Feel you pain @Pace. Did our HWS this year, then needed to replace all the water pipes as well. We should 'ave been plumbers! Close to living on cat food for a while. o_O

Next instalment of tiling for me. Between mods to the van, overseas business trips, and hangovers, this is really dragging out.
If I'm not done by Christmas, I'll be sleeping in here:(

@Soaring this is a really dangerous posting. Please can you issue a warning notice in the first line as Mrs Pace has been wanting to alter our bathroom and for fear she sees these pictures, I would be making a dog house in the near future. Pace.
Ah, sorry @Pace . If its any consolation, me doing the ensuite reno was part of the negotiation to upgrade from the soft floor to the expanda.
Got the van so have to fulfil my end of the deal.
@Bmhdg76 I'll certainly post the finished product. Who knows, maybe the pressure of having the Expandas Downunder watching will move it along quicker!

Had another great weekend away with the Family and Friends Caravan and Camping club, at McLaren Vale Lakeside Holiday Park. More kids than adults with the group, which is always fun. Enjoyed a few ales and reds watching the SANFL grand final, followed up by the NRL final. Lost the bets on both!

Sites are large and the grass green at McLaren Vale.

Spent the weekend digging holes for post footings for a deck at our daughters place then mixing cement by the barrow load to fill them. Temperature today reached 38 degrees. Tomorrow start ordering steel ready for posts and bearers.

Things we do for (adult) kids.

Last weekend a quick getaway to Pottsville for a couple of nights, plus a good clean of the van on return Sunday... all shiny now! This weekend apparently I am to be chained in the garden for a delayed spring clean up & to de-winterise the pool... urghhh....

Pulled the van out of its hidey hole today and (literally) dusted off the cobwebs and did the routine check over and maintenance. We are off tomorrow with the "Navara Forum" for their annual muster at Janowen 4WD Park. Lots of 4wd runs (which I'll be watching) and the 'Condamine 14 rivers' run which I will do.

Looking forward to getting out and camping somewhere for a change. :humble:
