Nice looking spot @BOZZY . Will have to get in there next trip south. Wouldn't worry about the waves, I think it was small along the entire coast.

Totally inappropriate post...where are the moderators.
Mrs XF saw your pics and dragged me by ear into our unfinished laundry!

@Xpandafan you will be happy to note that the laundry is still in that state... :hurt-41:
Im currently sitting in the annexe at Mudjimba Caravan Park, having drunk a bottle of 2007 Rothvale Estate (Hunter Valley) Shiraz. YUMMO i must say. Ohh and i also must say, i can't count on one two hands how many typos i have had to fix.... LOL

Your qualifying post wasn't cutting much ice here, but the mention of red sparked some interest. You spelt Shiraz right at least. Found a 2012 Forest Hill (SA) so all's well.

We have flown up to Burleigh Heads QLD to do a balloon ride I got for Simone's birthday.
Come back home next Tuesday.
I had forgotten what it was like to sleep under nothing but a sheet with the window open letting fresh air in.
The remainder of my stay is....25 and sunny, 25 and sunny, 25 and sunny, 26 and sunny and 27 and sunny.
To my fellow Victorians.....get out.....head due north.....don't look back....just keep on driving.

We went to Halifax Holiday Park at Port Stephens on the weekend, we took advantage of the off peak rates that are about to end :( A really nice spot next to the beach, no waves but great fishing....i'd go again for sure! Late Friday night a storm came over bringing some heavy rain thunder and lightning, on Saturday morning when I went outside I found this happened to poor old mate behind us.....a reminder to have one end of awning lower than the other or use rafters! Note the bent drum.

Here's a pic of a salmon I caught.....didn't keep but sure was fun on a 6' boat rod! Also got a nice feed of bream and flatties :)

Added some hooks under the hard lid on the underside of beds to hang some light weight stuff like power cable, life jackets and the like. Next week end we pull the van out from under carport and sort out storage options inside like where to put the coleman hot water on demand unit I brought. Also I wanna measure what size ground mat to get for under annex as we head off at the end of the month for a two week trip along the murray.

Got the van out this weekend and headed to Murray Bridge for the 3rd round of the HPV pedal Prix. my son races with the Nuri high school team. This round is a 24 hour race and the team ran 3 cars, one for junior students, one for senior students and an open category for parents. The course is 2.1 Km's in length around the Sturt Reserve. In total there were 225 cars racing with the grid being 4 cars wide and 200m long.

My son rode 5 laps at a time averaging just over 4 mins per lap. Mrs Cracka and I both had a ride in the open class. I completed 1 lap at a time before running out of puff, doing a 5:50 lap time, not to bad for a 41 yo fat man!

A great weekend was had by all.

After all of the feed back on this forum we decided to buy ourselves a Weber Q (baby) this weekend. So far so good. Made the best delicious pizza's, thanks lots for info and recipes posted by other members. :encouragement:

I did something different on the weber this weekend... Made spaghetti. I thought of you guys and thought of taking a pic but never did. I basically removed the grate and sat a big frying pan directly on the burner. Worked perfectly.
