Hey bigman,
Little off topic, but given your a CQ boy, which way would you recommend for Brisbane to Charters towing a van? Via Roma or coast? We need to get there quickly and safely for my sons cricket. We are planning to leave on the 15th with an overnight stop somewhere and arrive 16th.

Thx
Jas

Busy busy busy weekend. Final weekend before our 1 month trip.
1. Serviced the Prado - oil, air and fuel filters.
2. Had a ticking noise in the air con system so back blew it and all good now. See if it turns up again.
3. Got last items for our trip - some tent pegs and springs for our Awning shade.
4. Checked Sat phone and made and received calls. :)
5. Washed Prado. Now just saw a severe storm warning and flash flooding warning. Of course. LOL.
6. Drank Wine
7. Drank Wine
8. Drank Wine.

Same to you mate :)!!!

Although the little one was more interested in climbing walls... :)

We did find our annex -

http://australiawideannexes.com.au/annexes.php

Its vinyl bottoms with canvas tops, was initially going to go vinyl but this looks / feels very nice and the family like the fact you can roll each section up individually to create air flow.

It was especially good yesterday with the rain bucketing down as we got to see it in bad conditions and it held up very well.

I wonder how all those annexes/tents/marquee's held up in the storm last night, Kiama certainly copped a flogging, dont think I would have liked being in a van last night

Headsed to the Adelaide Caravan and Camping show. Picked up a new gasmatge BBQ, fits in the tunnel boot at the front of the van. Also picked up a new set of towing mirrors.

Suddenly weekend over and back to work tomorrow:Cry:

Spent some time on Saturday "fine tuning" my overhead cupboard doors. 1 was catching on the side so I had to elongate holes in the hinges, with some others I had to shim hinges to even up gaps and file catches, I couldn't see Jayco doing this under warranty!
Also tried to run cable up to top cupboard next to shower for a solar switch.....mission impossible! Will have to settle for somewhere else!

Cheers.

I got a wireless reversing camera for my birthday at the start of Feb. :) So bought some blank 12v plugs for power as I don't want to hard wire it. It also came with enough video cable so I run this through the floor of prado rather than using the wireless side. Started to wire the plugs for power up and then run out of time so need to finish maybe one night this week :)

Ants :)

Same here Ants, was researching on the w'end for this same mod to the Pathy. Also went up to Ballarat (not for the swap meet), visited family friends and look for a nice spot to free camp. (Mrs Pace is getting more adventurous)

Cheers Pace.

Well as we were kid-less this weekend (thanks gran and granddad) the miss's and i teed up some friends and we all went for a 400k ride up the mountains. Two cbr1000rr's, an sv650s and of course my little aprilia rsv1000r beastie.
:)

Not a drop of rain all day as well. Of and my wife's boss brought his new toy to play with and followed us in his SSV Commodore. Great weekend.
