Aerial1.jpgAerialTop.jpg Embarrassingly slack weekend. Did manage a "1 minute mod" to the (Saturn) Travellers Mate TV aerial mast. I saw the aerial for sale at $340 so decided to try and make pinching it a bit more difficult. Couple of cheap padlocks secure bottom of mast to bracket and secure the mast extension. I also drilled a drain hole in bottom of bracket so I don't get splashed.
Yes, I know plastic doesn't rust, and a few drops of water won't kill me, but it least it looked like I was doing something rather than just wandering around my Expanda.

Great weekend, the roll over happened right in front of me:fear:, saw the back of the car whack the fence 6 feet off the ground...only down side of the crash, it was a holden, but think it was a Ford that Launched him, bloody fords...

Hi Brad,
a hammock sounds like the go, laying back with cold beer in hand watching Holden win is my idea of relaxation......will have to look into getting a hammock :thumb:

I drove through Yea on Sat, with the Expanda on the way to Jamieson Brad. How did you find the CP, we stayed there around 2.5 years ago.

Hey cruzza.... I missed this post of yours... I found the Yea CP nice and clean. Looks like the toilets have just been done up. Great big swing and play area for the kids. Pooches allowed as well as an open fire. So a simple CP but it was a nice weekend. Next time though, I want to go back to Bonnie Doon CP.
How's the serenity.....

Had a day trip over to Mudgee yesterday for "A Day on the Green". Did a few winery's first and then the concert.
The line up was great Radiators, Choir Boys, Daryl Braithwate, Ian Moss and Noiseworks.
Suffering from a late night and a little over indulgence although my third coffee should fix that!!!

What a weekend! First, a warning to the younger forum members from an old fart. Watch out for the sun, this is the third one of these I've had cut out.

Stitches come out tomorrow.

So today my wife and I were packing and getting the car ready for a run up to Caloundra for three nights when she took a phone call from our daughter asking if mum could go with her to the hospital as she has had a miscarriage. All was OK, she just had to have an ultrasound. While they were there I took a call from my sister-in-law in Sydney who just managed to get out that my mother-in-law had just passed away before she broke down. I could not pass that information to my wife by phone (she was still at the hospital) so I had to drive 20 km to tell her she had just lost her mother. Not a great time.

Now organising flights to Sydney. I don't need another weekend like this.
