is the 3.0 ltr patrol any good for towing expanda

I was not going to post on this one however here I am.

I have had two 3 litre patrols, one 2008 and one 2012. My wife and i, especially my wife, loves the patrol. We tow a big wake boarding boat (greater than 2 tonne) and find it easy to manage- not as quick off the mark than the 200 series V8 cruzer, but half the price. We only buy manuals because of the towing requirements.

We have ordered a 17.56-2 OB for April 2013 delivery and have no doubts about towing this caravan with the patrol.

I have a mate who has a V8 dodge with electronic power adjustment inside cab who will tow the same boat as mine at 110-120km/hr- bye, bye patrol. The only thing he can't over take is a service station.

Patrol will do the job.

hi just found your post...im thinking of getting terracan diesel and will also be towing a 16ft expanda does the cope well with climbing hills etc? there is 5 in family plus dog

Used to tow a 20ft van with my Terracan, never had an issue, only changed it over for a greater tow capacity
