I stretched mine and its fine for now, but someone mentioned they put a rubber tap connector washer inside to increase the tension on the spring. I think that would be a better option because i suspect my spring will shrink back to its factory length eventually .... or replace with anything other than the Jayco oneSo looks like I'll be climbing under the van and looking at the pressure limiting valve and doing the spring stretch trick or calling into Jayco Caravanland and get one of their new replacement valves.

(GRMPS ??? Gramps or grumps)
I too tried strenching the spring but it always seems to end up with no pressure again even with a washer in with the spring.I stretched mine and its fine for now, but someone mentioned they put a rubber tap connector washer inside to increase the tension on the spring. After two years and three of these valves @dagree I have decided to run the gauntlet and remove the insides of number three valve. I have given up on the valves @Crusty181
Just have to make sure before leaving the van to turn the hose of at the tap.:eagerness:
You play with the Jayco valve .... but can you ask the engineers for the rest of usAfter the stretching test (If it fails) might have to have a word to a couple of our engineers at work and see what "fix" they can find!
Damn. The washer was my "go to fix" if the stretch thing didnt last. Have you tried a Netta replacement, or any other (other than Jayco) proper plumbing supplies alternative.I too tried strenching the spring but it always seems to end up with no pressure again even with a washer in with the spring.
