Got your moneys worth out of the that anode @dagree, although I think there's a couple more weeks left in that little lump on the stick. I went to check my anode on the weekend and I suspected it may leak into the van. I sealed along that facia lip where it over laps the HWS case (if that makes sense) under the pipe glue in your pic ... that looked like where any leak would happen. I find out next weekendWell the engineer did the usual and passed his task onto a graduate... Report back was "Looks like a well made valve... Can't see anything wrong with this one.... Why don't you try stretching the spring?"
So took his advise?? this afternoon and now have the best pressure in the van since we got it..... But lets see for how long?
After refitting and testing thought I'd check the water heater anode out of curiosity after 16 months.....

Good old WA quality water for ya!!!!!!!
After remembering a slight leak inside the last van when changing one (and issues others have had on here with the lack of sealing around the water heater) I came up with this idea to get the water away from the van!

Any more pressure issues and the spring will get re-stretched, washer fitted etc on site and I'll do my own investigation on a new valve afterwards.
hehehehehehe
(I dont have - remember.....................)

what about a sleeving the bottom of the pipe where it clamps to stop any crushing over time ?? I say that as I recall a mounting I had which was similar and some blockhead leant against the post a bit too much.
