Who did you buy the dish & VAST box from @dagree ?

Picked it up from Access Antennas in Osborne Park @jeff . $584 including carry bag and a few free fittings and cables! Details can be found here

Caravan and Motorhome on Tour magazines current15 issue subscription offer comes with a free iTechWorld 85cm Easy Base Satellite Dish, all for $149

Good deal, the dish itself is worth a couple of hundred dollars
Sounds like a good deal @Crusty181 but I have had dealings with "Customer Service :o " from the local supplier for that brand and no matter the cost I wouldn't give them my $'s!!!!!!!!!!

Guessing just the dish @bigcol and probably the only way they can get rid of stock apart from online sales that doesn't require direct customer service ;)
Looked for my previous post of customer service received at the Caravan and Camping Show and gave up looking!!!! It had some comments about language from a young salesman and three of us walking away saying "Looks like you just missed out on sales!!!!"

That was my second experience with them and the first was in their store :o

On a different note...... Customer service from where I got mine was great. No pressure selling but full of information and answered all my "dumb" questions!

They have a setup in the showroom (Small and cramped but everything on show). They show how to set everything up from go to whoa and then get you to try for yourself even before you commit to buy.

Not affiliated... Just a happy customer :)

Whoops ... what I meant to say is don't . :o

I get regular emails from the magazine publishing company (which I don't know why, and have ignored until recently) They have a 10 month subscription with 2 x free 2w Oricom handheld UHFs all for $99 ... Ive started buying the mag for destination info in preparation for a long trip and wanted to replace my little mans 0.5w UHFs anyway. The Oricom's are worth at least $100, so it was convenient .... and then came the iTech deal ..... ha. Although the UHFs did turn up within 2 days .... haven't seen a mag yet tho.

After camping last night at Theresa Crk Dam and no TV or phone, not really missed but thought now is a good time to mention Sat TV, now I know where not to go...........by the way Theresa Crk Dam is great and gets a revisit for sure.

One has to tread carefully and make a good presentation of all the positive benefits of getting a Sat TV set up, if I rush it I can scare the keeper of the money box away from the idea. I had been looking at iTech but now had better look elsewhere but is the gear okay andjust the service crap or the whole shebang.?
