1) Mod : how is that fold down wheel carrier working for you David? Looks factory for the pictures I have seen.

2) Mod : Nice wheel cover but would look far better with a Freo Dockers cover :banplease:

3) Mod : Good idea with the tool box vents too and I am collecting mine on Friday if all goes well.

4) Mod : Its alway a pleasure to help someone else's spend their hard earned money. :encouragement:

Mods are looking good @dagree. I like the fact you are getting or have got to the final design of your spare wheel carrier so when I blatantly copy it the hard work is done :).

@skippy .....

1) Very happy with the outcome. No rattling and it slightly reduces the ball weight after fitting the box :)
2) Consider yourself BANNED!!!!!!! ;)
3) Thanks. Was a bit concerned with just having a couple of small vents on the back of it
4) I know the feeling :p

Few more minor mods done this afternoon while the weather was being kind:

5) Took @Bmhdg76 advise re the door step and went to bunnings and got an outdoor mat and cut it to shape to fit... Bloody expensive at $4 but can't complain considering a Jayco one with logo is $125  and got two mats out of the one... So only $2 each :thumb:

Yep and love that they can just be beaten and hosed if dirty! Hmm. Hope swmbo doesn't read this or I am in trouble with how that sounds! And not condoning physical violence in any form!

We have to go and get a couple more to have a spare.

BJ.

Fitted the other vents to the other side of the van this afternoon and thanks to @seanparky for reminding me I fitted the second bed end latch to the back end and one to the front bed. Now the foam eggshell mattress topper can be left on the rear bed without pushing the base against the hard lid :)

And the front one was only fitted because of a near miss couple of weeks ago...... Had the van parked on sloped driveway and the bloody thing dropped while I was working on tidying up the lights and fridge wiring on the a-frame (had the hard-lid open for shelter!!!!)

Next job..... Either have the bed end covers made and fitted or get the Jayco ones and fit myself...... Still undecided which way we are going yet but leaning towards the Jayco canvas ones for a few reasons.

Have the Jayco bed ends and picked up our sail tracks today and thanks to @@Marv_mart confirming that I was on the right track (No pun intended!!!) will be fitting the front one tomorrow night if I get home before dark :) and the rear one on Friday after I drag the van away from the fence.
Also had a canvas cover made for the hydraulic jack on the trail-a-mate so will fit that aswell.
Ordered a 12v low voltage disconnect unit tonight thanks to @Bmhdg76 for helping me spend more $'s ;)

Now to get out and use it!!!!!!
