When I sold the Cruiser I kept my drop tongue so I'll use that now, the suspension will settle a little though in the 1st few hundred k's but not much ;)

g'day cruza driver, where did you get your alignment done as when I get new springs/shocks I will have to have one done for my Paj and after some recommendations for local shops.
Cheers

and you need a good 4 wheel alignment too for the Paj. Never had any wear issues with our Paj but I was right in the alignment.

I use Tyres and More in Croydon greynt, I've known them for nearly 20 years (before the Tyres and More days)

They have always done my cars and I have never had wheel alignment issues over that time. I'm not saying it either because I know them but because I know of there workmanship

The BT is looking great mate!

What do you think of the Tough Dog setup?
I reckon mine is a little bit underdamped in the front end. Feels great off road and in slow stuff, but it tends to wallow a little bit over high speed undulations.

The job of fitting the new Uniden I bought the other week is finally done bar some tidying up of the wires. I wanted to mount it in the pocket in front of the gear stick but have read some horror stories about removing the console area around the gear stick. I read the clips can break easily and I didn't want to be another victim, but I wanted it removed to access behind the lower dash :roll eyes:
So I gently lifted it with success and no breakages and disconnected 1 of the 3 power outlets and the 4wd select switch, the gearstick boot also unclips. This enabled me to get my hand up behind the pocket (JUST!) and after more thought I grabbed the drill and drilled the holes for the power and aerial cables. Once they were run I mounted the UHF into position with high quality double sided tape and am confident it wont be going anywhere.
I haven't had the chance to test it out as I just need to power it up as I ran out of time but the hard work is done :)
I'd already mounted the aerial before tackling the inside (maybe I was putting it off :p:)
Anyway.................

I'm just going to leave the mic in the pocket in a stubby holder for the moment as I don't use the pocket anyway.
