I have a Oleo Mac, its about 40 years old, 12 inch bar, bit of a story to how I obtained it,
I was out camping with some mates and one of em was a rep for a company and says who wants a new chain saw, one of the other blokes goes I do, mine is Stuffed only goes sometimes!
I said what ya doing with the old one, he says throwing in the bin, so I grabbed it took it home, gapped the spark plug correctly cleaned the air filter, gave it choke, 3 pulls and guess what some 20 years later it still going,
The mate who I got it off has had 3 saws since! nothing like a classic saw I reckon,

I don't use it much these days since breaking my back, it's a bit hard to stand and cut wood on crutches, but I get it out now and then and my son uses it, just to rub it in to my mate! He's still spewing!!

cheers Greg

Just on the NP no chainsaws rule.......a few years ago, I was deep in the Alpine NP With a couple of mates. We had a bad storm overnight, and a tree came down on my mates car. Unfortunately, he was sleeping in his roof top tent at the time. suffered a broken leg and three broken ribs, as well as cuts and bruises. We had to cut him out and high tail to hospital. I see a chainsaw as a critical tool, and take one every time I head off the beaten track.......

Yesterdays efforts first pic was wood for home, second pic was last some wood for nights entertainment, last pic the fire in the backyard with some carlton draughts and jimmys for desert and some great friends around finishing with a sleep out with the kids in the van. You don`t even have to go anywhere for the kids to have fun.
