You did not have to tell us the true story @Drover of how you hurt your shoulder. You could have told us you hurt your shoulder reeling in a big one (that got away) which would make @Crusty181 very envious.

Nah he would see thru it straight away, he knows me......... besides would want pictures and when I do catch a biggie it will be in wide screen...

C’mon @Crusty181 it could be worse it could be cold and wet, chin up ol mate

Yeah could be a lot worse you could living in, oh, you do !! better just disregard that thought..........

Right on @Disco Duck . The hard decision is "when" and coming out the other side. If timing is correct, we will ALL be a lot happier, and accept the inconvenience of past restrictions as just a pain in the ar$e. If wrong, the decision maker will become the pariah of Australia, and reminded of the miscalculation at every opportunity! And for us poor peasants, it will be back to the full restrictions again for an unknown time. Not to mention those unfortunate to get caught on the second wave of infections and not recover. Tough call!!

Just how tough this call will be is evident from this clip regarding Philadelphia during the Spanish flu pandemic @Disco Duck . It will be interesting to see who makes the first move/s in Australia while others less brave look on and see what happens. Although we have plenty of examples to watch in the USA with a President who is prepared to encourage others to act like lemmings and commit hari kari. New York is bad enough with restrictions - how would it be if there were none?? Just like Philadelphia in 1918!!
I don't know about you, but I do not want to be around in the area that is the first to be fully opened up in case they get it wrong. I am keen to get out and around again camping etc, but .....??? The nightmare on the attached says it all. Stay safe ...and patient!!

Well back on topic
The planets finally aligned today so out in the deep blue sea I went

An early start and I did think maybe I should have worn more than a shirt and shorts but it was okay

Once into the deep blue sea it was a little choppy but we kept going and the came upon a school of tuna (obviously not in school today because they are closed and the internet is probably down anyway) and bang landed some bait for the crab pots

so we baited the crab pots and ended up with 10 leagal size blue swimmers to take home

so all in all not a bad day, while we were waiting for the crabs to arrive we caught a few small snapper etc but fed them to the dolphin that hangs around our fishing spot the water temp is still very much like summer here, probably warmet than some cities currently

anyway as the storm clouds started to come in we decided it was beer time and time to cook our catch, so not a bad morning and we beat the weather apparently
