She told me to bugga off, I don't live close enough to Brisbane to count................... it would have to be @chartrock as he's a Big Smoke fella and she listens to city folk.

If you had been down here someone would have counted and measured them for you, all provided by the State Government free of charge it seems but some of the blokes are so pleased with the service they send off a cheque to help balance the books. ...............

Instead of tooling around up here with dry river beds or catching turtles I'm supposed to be down at Jerilderie with my Navy Oppo fishing, this is number 3................. told him he's a bustard.

The Mexicans have been given an inch, and theyre taking 12 miles. Wandered down to beach this morning for a stroll along the foreshore and counted 60 boats just out front of our beach. 15deg and a beach full of people. Wandered around to the boat ramp and in 20 years Ive never seen the boat ramp carpark so full, with plenty of cars parked up on the grassed area. There were 20 boats lined up in the creek waiting their turn at the ramp, and then there was half that lined up thru the carpark waiting to launch.

I expect all courtesy of the AFL grand final public holiday .... yup, a public holiday in lockdown for a parade we dont have, and for a sports event we also dont have.

He certainly does @Johnanbev I pull the Carp out of the way for him usually so he can hook a good one........ Stuff all water in the Dumaresq at the moment for me to show him up. Will try a few other cricks and ribbers later.

secrets out i know where you are , getting ready to slip over the border or going to the pig races at Nindigully pub?

Ha, ha might be running the border, won't know until we hook up again................though I did have a stroll on both banks the other day, didn't notice any change.................some waterholes up stream but need a border pass to get there, too far to walk.............but locals reckon nothing, need to go to weir.

good spot to catch big cod and big yellow belly around there is Glenlyon dam on pike creek ,need a boat and the van park is only there as a fishing village ,my missus hated it. the other good cod river is the severn river in sundown gorges ,out of the way which keeps the day trippers away no need for boat there, Boomi is a good stop if going over the border good thermal baths and big pool
