If I was a betting man, its hard to go past Red Bull either 1 or 888 and Craig would have to be my pick, but Jamie and Paul have got a bit more pace
Yep... never liked the man, but was a handy driver. Still, anyone who brings money and a bit of hype to the sport is welcome in my book.
Yep, solid pedigree. When looking at the form guide, look at the team with a strong history of getting cars to the finish line. Anyone can win it with a bit of luck, but getting to the front end takes quality and a solid team. Made my money last year with some solid Top 10 finishes last year, and that's where I'll be looking again. Plenty value to be had there and good teams should get there notwithstanding some numbnut back marker on a hero crusade.
I'm so freakin' excited to finally getting to the mountain this year.
Who's on the road yet? We stopped any goondiwindi tonight and will roll into bathurst tomorrow night. Super pumped!

We must have driven right past you, we are sitting in Yelarbon, just down the road from Goondiwindi. We are heading home from the corner meet, and whilst not heading to Bathurst, I am racing home to watch it. Can't wait. Safe trip down and enjoy the weekend. Would be interested in your thoughts on camping and anything else you can think of as I am interested in doing a similar trip in the years to come.

Started loading up the Triton with the important stuff! Heading off at 4:00 am Wednesday. I'm as toey as a Roman sandal! Bring it on. Towing a camper trailer up there, should be there by 3 or 4 in the arvo.

Are you all arriving together mate? Because if you aren't you can only arrive with the quota "per person". Or else they'll take what you can't bring in. (ie. if you rock up by yourself, you can only bring in 1 slab/can equivalent, 2 people, 2 slabs and so on and so forth). You might know this already but just wanted to make sure...
Yes mate all over that one. That's our three slabs of the good stuff and once we get set up we will duck back into town for a couple of slabs of beer. Happy days!

It's a special place Bathurst. Having been to heaps for the bikes when they where on, and a heap of car race qualifying . I still get the hairs on the back of my neck lift when I go there.

Bought the meat and chucked it in the freezer. But the docs confirmed the worst and has thrown me on antibiotics. I'm hoping I'm good to go by Thursday/Friday for a big weekend... Either way, it means I've got a doctors pass for tomorrow which means I can take it easy before heading to Shep tomorrow night.
