@AddItUp cook them for about 30 minutes, we have also done fish and chips ( the oven type ones). Anything an oven can heat so can the weber. The chiko rolls are awesome, they even come with the little bags to serve in. Get them from the freezer section of supermarket in a box.

Great for roasts too. Get yourself a roasting tray / grill and fold a double layer of alfoil to put under the grill and your roast. Cut some slits in the foil to let the fat drain away. The foil stops the roast being burnt!

As above. And follow the Weber directions for a start (re foil, trivet, etc) before you start experimenting.
Love my BabyQ so much I bought the company a FamilyQ for home as well.
BabyQ now lives in van and I'm building-in the FamilyQ at the moment with a bench, etc. and the s/steel cupboard I kept from my previous BBQ that went out in the hard rubbish collection.:)

Sure you haven't got a pic of my two BBQs!!! Loved the one at home so much we bought a BabyQ for camping as well! Only tip I have is give the BabyQ about ten minutes to get plate hot. The temp gauge on the front doesn't tell you the plate temp as the heat takes a while to sink into it.

Don't feel such an idiot now. I was a sceptic til I got the BabyQ for the van (based on forum recommendations). Agree your tip about properly pre-heating plate (I allow 1 x G&T or wine, or 2 x beers). Wish I'd discovered them earlier, cause the big stainless 4-burner I got was b****y useless. I pity the bloke who collected it from the nature strip. In the middle of the Weber Family Q mod at the moment. Will post pics when done, but don't hold your breath, I'm better known for my quick humour than speed of workmanship.

@Xpandafan even after only a few times of cooking on the BabyQ, I can't see myself going back to the normal bbq. The only problem is, I may need to buy a bigger one for home.

Funny bloody things hey, loking at getting rid of my massive stainless 5 burner at home and replacing it with a Weber.
Now am I the only one who smokes out the neighbours when cooking steak? Or have I missed something?

@DRW I would definitely like to get rid of my old 4 burner at home. I've set up the BabyQ out the back and haven't even looked at the old bbq.
We haven't cooked steak yet, but I think smoke is one of the things that makes the meat taste so good.

@DRW I like the smoke, the smell of the cooking food is awesome. Doesn't matter what you do, some people will always complain.
