My weekend started at 12.15pm so I decided to see if I could take my Mickey Mouse ears off.

Baby steps and panic stations when I start

If car yard doesn't notice, then you will see a set of clearviews for a patrol (gu 8 I think -2012 model) in the for sale section in the next week or 2.
Just got to clean the car so it matches the shiney new mirrors now.

Did a trip to the Gold Coast caravan show today. Lots of caravans and campers but not tempted. I went with a mate who is almost convinced he needs to replace his 2003 Royal Flair with a Retreat Fraser. Quite a nice van but $76K (Show special $72K) but he reckons he can't afford to buy until the share market goes up again. He will have to replace his 2005 Patrol as well due to low tow capacity.

I just spent $20 for a pair of stainless awning roller clips ($25 on the web) so I got off light. :D I did see this spare mount on the rear of a Crusader.

Saturday I recall is a weekend, 3 trips to trip in old Ute, big tray, tomorrow may add 2 more tip runs, shed is looking very roomy...............bloke can sure collect some stuff over the years................I hope Big Mal doesn't require a special mod as I've probably dropped the bits off at the tip.

Another ute load to the tip, my nuts, bolts and screw collection ( 3 plaster buckets loads ) gone to be recycled, shed is just a shell and looking really clean, 23 yrs of "might need that "gone, along with about another 10 yrs stuff that was brought in from the old place........damn I have been savage, just thought if I want something I will just have to go and buy it, a novel approach I thought....no more digging around the place to find the bits needed................mind you my grey water tank which cost me something like $60 would now cost me about $200, tough.
Bloke at tip just waves me through, I'm a regular, must think I have a tip .....lol.

We were almost neighbours @Bushman ? Where'd you stay at Cowra ?

Cowra Van Park, right on the river next to the bridge

First rate service from Nick, Rob and their staff :first:

There was a StarCraft 17 bunk van there with a Journey did look to see if it was you but was hitched to a Toyrado, the other a Triton.
the Vintage Van club rolled in there, was certainly some interesting rigs there. There's some pics on their FB page
