On Sunday I took the kids to my local model aircraft club where I use to fly a few years ago. Was a good turnout and great weather. A pitty was too dry to fly the gas turbine jet, they tend to light fires.
The big plane in the pic has a 250cc 5 cylinder radial engine, sounded great.
Also had a good chat with a guy about his Dji Phantom and after talking to @Crusty181 at Beaufort I ended up ordering one.
Ive not had it up since, but i can be patient. Im sure it will get a workout over the next 12 months or so. Did you get the Adv?

I sure you will use it heaps on your trip. I ended up with the Pro got a pretty good deal with extra free battery which the advanced didn't come with. Worked out about $200 more accounting the extra battery.

After 7 hours of scrubbing, polishing, shampooing and cleaning, the old Hunjy almost looks new again. Time for a beer

Ballarat
I spent the weekend with the BT locked In low range with @17triton having his Triton also locked in low range up in the Vic High Country.

A great weekend doing 200km from when we left Mansfield and returning back there again before heading home. No vans for this trip just the swags.
A great weekend mate!:encouragement:
Me and the young fella left Ballarat just after 6 am and got to Mansfield by 9:30 just in time to get a coffee and pie from the bakery before @cruza driver turned up. We then headed for the hills and found some ripper tracks and didn't make it to camp till nearly 8pm a huge day and then it was a very relaxed sunday morning with a bacon and egg cookup before a slow packup and headed for home just before lunch. An awesome weekend on the spur of the moment and can't wait to do it again in the new year.
