Put my little foam corner protectors on the solar panel. Then this afternoon, did the almighty battle. Put the cover on the van. Will have to admit it would have helped to have read the instructions first. Oh well, that's next time.
Also took a look under the van at the sink waste. OMG! I can see why it doesn't drain. The pipe goes down, the pipe goes up, the pipe goes down, the pipe goes up. I'm sure you get the idea. Just trying to decide whether to have it still emptying on the same side as it is now, or have it on the other side. Either way, something needs to be done.

Feeling my age this weekend, my niece's 21st on Saturday Arvo, followed by a friends 50th Saturday night. Took me most of today to get over it
Im hearing you. I rang my best mate from school the other week to catch up for a Horlicks. He's retired and was at a Grandpop's afternoon tea at the Primary School. Last week my dad buried his last remaining sibling, and I discovered the little cousin I used to play chase'ie with is bloody 60 years old

Ok so had a productive day yesterday...
First got up and washed the Panda, gave some extra love and also cleaned the awning with RV awning cleaner (highly recommend it) and gave it a good polish.
Sprayed all the bindi's in the yard, topped up the pool and water blasted the Panda's home. Then of course what happens? Decent storm rolls through and undoes it all!

Should have known as soon as I topped up the pool!

Well because the Father in-Law celebrated his 70th this weekend, we thought we better do the righty and not go away, I know I know, how inconsiderate of him, having a birthday on a long weekend, anyhoo, we took him out to lunch at Lake Charlotte Winery in Wooraloo on Sunday great place for a feed and a drop of fermented grape juice. So today spent the day starting to get the drawers in the back of the ute under way, bout bloody time , the rest of the weekend was spent either golfing or fitting a new door to the music room / man cave , note the new gadget electronic pin code door lock, I toyed with the idea of using the roadie's PIN number you know Two.. Two...One... Two but thought that would be too obvious ha ha

Took the Expanda to Upper Yarra dam for the first time.
We used to head up there in our camper trailer haven't been there for 18 months
Was pretty disappointed when I headed for the showers only to find they had been disconnected
Bloody bureaucrats destroying great camping grounds for families,
Used our outdoor shower instead.

Unfortunately that wasn't the only bad news,
As our dog Oscar was sick before we went away,
had to leave early with a very sad trip to the vet and have him put down.
At least we got one last trip with him.
Very sad now.
Have some very good memories but.
