and on a lighter note, some idiot put a garden tap on my sons front lawn right behind my Colorado which was parked next to the Tardis so that when I drove off the lawn I ran over it !!!!!!!...........Was most pleased when I realized it was copper and not steel as it just got squashed and bent a bit ,so will cut and shut it with a joiner, damn thing is a big pipe though 25mm and the shops only seem to have 20mm joiners, too scared to try and straighten it up and my gas torch is 1300kms away.................................need a new one though, hmmmmm something good may come of this. Canberra is a cold place.

Well done and congrats @crackacoldie and *Try posting a bit more so your post isn't boring*+ to what @Crusty181 said!

Congrats @@crackacoldie You and your family should be bursting with pride. Emergency service people, specially the volunteers like you guys are genuine unsung heroes. You sacrifice your time, your families and you lives to help and save the rest of us generally ungrateful smucks. Well done.
A worthy award :clap2: :encouragement:

Managed to get the girl out for 4 days - took the family down to Big4 Bellarine for a short, but well needed break. Have been flat-out at work since we got back from the Prom in January and was getting rather restless.....

Basically had the caravan park to ourselves. You know it is a great place when you ask the kids where they want to go and the simply want to go back to the Big4 Bellarine, time and again. The park is always immaculate - and there is more building going on to add extra attractions.

Love it @ROnEM... Another vote for Bellarine Big 4. Can't believe we've had the van over a year and still haven't got down there, considering it's only an hour from our joint! Better elevate it up the list.

How does the saying go, it happens in 3s. Got proved to me,again!.
I managed to pop 2 tyres in a week on the Pathy thanks to tek screws on the road, then just to rub salt in the wound woke up from nightshift to a flat in the garage that I picked up another screw coming home from tyre joint replacing the 2 tyres l popped. Not happy at all.
I managed to tyre plug 1st one l popped to get me home for those of whom are wondering how l got out of trouble,on board compressor God send there are plus some bush mechanic skills came into play.
Moral of the experience is breath and ride out bad luck. Gotta laugh, and l did.....

Caught up with a few mates for a ride on Sat with the fantastic weather, great to be back on the bikes to get ride fit for the trek to the MotoGp.

Today my daughters 6 year olds birthday party with 14 other 6 year olds.

Just spent the last 2 sunny days and boy were they sunny at Camden for the NSW U/13 softball state championships. My 9yo son played for our rep team and they came second which was a little unexpected and fantastic result. This rep team is made up of quite a few U/11's and to get the numbers because our club comp for boys is weak we had some girls from the development team.

Was going to take the Panda as the Poplar CP is next door but was booked out when I rang so we just drove the hour each way both days.

Checked and packed the car for a solo run to Adelaide for a couple of weeks to attend a funeral etc. Left this morning. Lonely but at least SWMBO isn't with me to stop me listening to my music. Even nicer to set the cruise control to 125kph and know that I'm legal. Tomorrow is the unlimited section but I'll still be at 130 but will see who or how many are faster.
