Wife flew to Tasmania for a week or so this morning, so what will I do for this weekend and the next one?

WHAT EVER I WANT, WHEN EVER I WANT, so long as no dirty dishes are left in the sink, the dog is fed, the chooks and fishes are still alive.

QUOTE="Drover, post: 109404, member: 3287"]and I never make the bed either.....[/QUOTE]
It's the tropics, we don't make beds as you want them airing out to stop mould. It is a water bed though so am considering putting the spare sack of chook food on the other side to balance as normal. At least the sack won't steal the sheet.

Hey @Crusty181, thats the weather report they put out for Victorians, nice and sunny up here today. They are only predicating 1 to 5 mm of rain, thats not rain !!!!!!
An audacious and clever ruse to keep the Mexicans south of the border. Keep this to yourself, but next year we're going to attack QLD from the north, after sneaking up and coming across from the nth west .... they never now what hit them. The old pincer movement. Unless we turn right too early and end up in Sth OZ .... (if we tip toe we shouldn't wake them up)

We spent the weekend at my brother inlaws onsite van at Jerusalem Creek which is about 7km from Eildon. The park is for permanent sites only 300 or so 8-) so the Expanda was left in the shed for the weekend. He has set his onsite permanent annex to accommodate plenty of visitors.

Its on the banks of Lake Eildon and yesterday was paddling around in the kayaks. Early this morning we did a bit of exploring right up in the upper reaches of the Big River arm of Lake Eildon in the ski boat.

It was a great way to spend a couple of days.

I packed munchies into the van ready for coral bay on the 3rd. Then dismantled the sink so I could swap the connection over to make it flow faster. Found it didn't need it, so replaced that and then started to put protective cushioning on the water pipes underneath the van and started buying a collection of cable ties to use on the pipes. Ooooh, nearly forgot. Set up an inline water filler on the hose ready to fill the tanks the next time. Waiting for caravan and camping show to get an under sink water filter and a few other bits.

With the long weekend in Vic, all the stars aligned with each other and the moon was full too. No bball, no training, no work, no parties so why not stay home and catch up on stuff.
Was good to be home with all the family and doing odd jobs with the kids helping out on Sat. Got out to Moomba last night and were cruising through the casino promenade and we bumped into Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton. Kids never knew who he was till I mentioned that he was one of the voices in Cars2, then the penny dropped and they were all over him. LOL. Lewis took it well and we got a happy snap too with him. The rest of the night was fantastic, never got home till 1am.
Today was the afternoon out (from a sleep in till 10),then family drive to Kinglake and really enjoyed the C7 we did. Got home about 6 and then polished the rear and near wall of the van (haven't done it since new), will do front and off side tomorrow.
Pace.

We spent a lovely weekend down at Portarlington. The weather was up and down but it's always good to get away. The kids had a ball. We had too much to drink, and talked a lot of crap. :)
Not overly impressed with the foreshore caravan park though. Since we were here last year, they have made the sites smaller. While they are deep, they are now only wide enough for your van and awning. Not the case for every site in the park, but the whole row we were in.
Honestly it was carnage. Cars boats gazebos, bikes. A complete mess.
Good thing the jam donuts at the pier were as good as usual.

Grabbed a couple of Kg of fresh muscles on the way home and cooked up a feast of chilli muddled tonight. Fantastic!

We are going the Saturday. Meant to be at a swim meet both days, but I'm pulling the girly thing. Shopping is more important! Ha ha ha
