Golly Mr C I shouldn't laugh , but.........
We had the grandkids for a week at Hervey Bay, had a ball with them, their mother on the other hand needs a good slap but unfortunately she is past it, after the arguing from her I decided to stay an extra night just to p!ss her off, we got back about 3pm and she was packed and gone by 4am next morning, this is why we are selling the panda and getting a van for 2. But I guess as they say in the classics the rain is good for the garden.

Mrs CR suggested the same thing and I do have a chainsaw. Trouble is, they are on the nature strip so are council property. >:(

Could be some really "strong winds" up your way couldn't there? Or with all the tracks around it, perhaps it was damaged in the "accident" and had to be removed for safety?

Ask for forgiveness, not permission.

No but I need to get a bobcat in to lower the ground in the van's shed. :p

Been reading the above, and well in one word "bugger", good the vans OK, they don't go well with trees, and the vehicle, as i said "bugger".

Looks like you need a tirfor and pull it back to the tree behind, then winch to the tree on the right to the road.

or you could leave it there and rent it out, a lovely treed grassy site

Would offer to bring the bobcat and do the dig for you , but your a further than i normally go !

Appreciate the thought @Colin&Sue but I agree you are a little too far. :( I will probably just pull the front around towards the road and then hitch it up and drag it out. I have fitted a larger dolly wheel and am just letting the drain dry out a bit. It has been sunny (and hot) today so I may tackle it this afternoon or tomorrow morning.

don't forget some action pics to close this one off @chartrock , r yeh forgot your up north , things dry out a bit quicker than down here.
I get a bit bored when it rains and i am stuck at home, so today i smashed the kitchen and cut my fingers twice, damm sharp broken tiles. The wife wants over head cupboards and glass splash back, upgrading range hood in the process.
guess its not a week end thing for me but any time it rains. :rain:

Spoke too soon about rain, laying under van outside wrestling with my under van tyre winch and wondered why my legs felt funny, it was starting to bucket down, deaf and wearing ear muffs doesn't help.
Being retired everyday is like an old time weekend.

Great weekend this weekend, Saturday took the little fire truck down to the Sampson Flat Ute and 4wd Muster in Adelaide. A fundraiser for the CFS Foundation after the fires in the Adelaide Hills. Lots of tricked up utes and Fourbies to look at, some bordering on ridiculous, some very well set up. Caught up with @BUSH PALACE who was showing off his very well set up Hunjy (it would have had some competition if I'd taken mine down though:boink:)

Sunday was spent doing some work on the Cruza to bring her back to life, fitting all the nice bits back on. The awning and roof rack today, next weekend will be the air compressor. The afternoon was spent relaxing in the shade in the hammock with a cold cider, perfect way to end a weekend.

Dragged the van out from under cover and gave it a bath this afternoon.... Then wet the bed end canvas and now left to dry overnight.

Tomorrow's job is to clean the inside and start packing for our two week trip down south next Friday :)
Thinking about fitting the bed end covers and wetting them down to shrink the stitch holes and then apply some waterproofing agent afterwards......... BUT we will NOT need that when we go away

Might even get some more press studs and fit them to the bed end covers as last time we had them setup it was windy and one of them came undone a couple of times and the covers almost slid off!!!!!

OH.... and will be fitting the other expandasdownunder stickers once all dry :)
