Hi @rcf , yes it is a top spot and normally good fishing. We caught a few with most under size. Species in the river that we saw or briefly caught were Whiting, Bream, Black Bream, Flathead, Trumpeter, Sickle Fish, Stingrays and Heaps of Toads. Those toads love biting the line off.
Mostly used prawn and Yabbies.
Didn't take the pots this year and those who were trying said they did no good.
We had a great time up there with a awesome setup.
Cheers

pity it isnt closer.............. :(
Hey @bigcol , it was our first time to Kennilworth Homestead.
It was really lush and green. Took us 3 hrs to get there, we met up with friends from Tanah Merah & Holland Park in Bris and had a great time. Its on the Mary River so the kids had fun swimming.

The kids loved feeding the animals too.

Today I got around to putting a couple Narva USB points in and as I figured out how to pull my radio out thanks to a Russian man on Youtube, I put an isolation switch in for the radio (pioneer type). Why they don't do this from the factory I cannot understand. How good is it not having to re set it all the time. The USB points are great, every time we go away we have about 8 Apple gadgets that need re charging, and an Android so as to not upset anyone.

Well after pulling the radio out yesterday, I hadn't put it back in as I never really liked it. I don't play CD's anymore so I wanted one with newer technology. So after my sons baseball today I thought I would check out stereos at JB hifi that stream music. As we had a pioneer that was only 2 years old (factory) I was hoping I could get one that plugged straight in. Found a Pioneer that did what I wanted to and it was plug and play. Slid the old one out plugged it in, job done, even the mounting bracket was the same. Daughter loves it! We gave it a test run tonight. I streamed music she had never heard of and then she did the same to me.

A side note to the radio I fitted last week, the original wiring was a touch ordinary, it bugged me so I re did it on Monday night. Sometimes I think I am OCD. I bought some proper radio loom connectors from Jaycar, much happier with it now. I also put a proper wall plate behind it with RCA, 3.5mm stereo plugs and USB connectors. The old way just had cables poking out all bundled up, they used to get in the way. As we are going away next week, I did a simple mod for the TV outside above the table. It is simple and removable. Once again, Kogan to the rescue. Free postage on TV mounts last weekend. I might make it prettier one day. It is just a bit of pine with some metal 90deg bends, some rubber stoppers on the bottom. Does the job and no drilling into the van. It just drops into the table locking bracket.

Put in a fully automated watering system for my wife's veggie garden.
She is very happy now, as we'd go away and a couple of hot days would kill eveything, not good for 'wife - caravan relations'.

Now to work out how to get clothes to wash and dry themselves...

Went down to Batemans Bay for a look at the South Coast Caravan Expo just to see what's around.
Ended up trading the Expanda for a 20ft Concept (Belmont series). We pick it up in about 3 weeks
Looks like the kids will be in swags from now on:wink:
