Hi Moto Moto,

Sounds great, yeah we really like the place, you never know we may even meet up once we have the new baby.

One more sleep to go until we pick up the new baby. The kids are so excited, Katie is just about busting, it's all she's talking about at the moment, they both want us to pick them up from school early so they can see the van, might have to pick them up on the way home with the van on, that'll give 'em a buzz.

I've spent the last few weeks building the launch/landing pad out the front of our bedroom window, only place to put it and at least we'll hear if anybody wants to play silly buggers during the night, that was an easy way to spend $5K, now though I have less grass to mow on the weekends we're at home which is a bonus, I'll post up some pics soon.

Had the dealership organise to put a single shelf in the bottom of the hanging cupboard at Jackie's request, we figured you only need enough height to hang shirts, and trousers can be folded over the hangers. Jayco Nowra are also organising to replace the 12pin plug with a 7pin large round and Anderson plug for me, nothing has been a hassle for them, they've been great.

One thing I'd like to get but they probably wont have is a wiring diagram for the van, does anyone know if there is such a beast?

All the best for tomorrow gwadir. I reckon my kids would have come down with a mysterious virus, though.
I think the wiring diagrams for the 18's were lost in 2007 and now I think they use the "free wiring" approach which allows Jayco workers To demonstrate their creativity.

Congrats bet you can't wait!!!

In fact it may not even be one more sleep as you probably won't get any :)...

Look forward to some pics of the landing pad and expanda when you get a chance.

Where is the first trip?

Jackie's got a 4x2 from up the back ready for me, she reckons she'll make me sleep.

Here's a few pics of the construction. 4.5Hrs on a 1.5T excavator was every boys dream come true, I'm not much of an operator as a novice but don't be rude it was fun. 230 blocks and 60 bags of premix concrete for the foundation in the wall then 8.5 tonnes of metal dust for backfill.

gwadir Wow, that 18 is sure going to cast a shadow on the house. Is that the evening sun side, which will now cool down the house in the summer? I'm thinking move that letter box, as for that small green box, is that electrical box??

Here's a couple of pics of the new van I got last week just after it arrived at Jayco Nowra, I'll post more once we get it home. It even came with an outside TV mount, perfect for watching Queensland go down next week.

Hi Pace,

no that's the morning sun so winter might be a little cooler in our bedroom but I guess that a sacrifice we have to make, the letter box is sitting on a concrete plinth, that will be moved over to near the water meter in the next week or so.
