Thats why I buy one that has the bugs all sorted, walk in, see what I want, throw money on table, drive out and go camping, all done 1 day...........life is to short for stuffing around waiting...................................not against people buying new vans or cars, someone has to get my next vehicle bug free and pay all the costs.

Hehe.... but! I am not ready for the van yet ;)

Still need to wait for the conc to cure so I can colour seal it..... sooo.... kind of a blessing in disguise

This is like having a tooth pulled.......far worse for you and we can feel your pain and excitement.

It must be over two years since you started the countdown, or maybe it feels like it.

Enjoy when you get it and don't do what some other idiot did when collecting....don't forget the mirrors.

Hi @Dobbie,
oouuccchh, I didn't forget them!!! I was given a check list by the dealer of all the things I needed to do prior to delivery and it wasn't on the list. I bet I am not the first one who had to race off to the accessory shop and buy them on the spot.

Surprising (not) that number one on their list was to either bring a bank cheque on the day or make a direct deposit two days prior for the outstanding balance.

cheers
Mike

Hey @mikerezny

I didn't realise you'd forgotten mirrors!

I was referring to me! Mirrors were on the car ...clearviews....but I completely forgot to pull them out as we hadn't had a van for ages .....so drove off, with van, and happened to say "I think we'll need that rear view camera". ....then it clicked.

Mirrors were pulled out. Still no rear view camera, though.

I've been teaching SWMBO to drive the "Battle Wagon" & Van
first thing she does when she sits down, adjusts the monitor for the rear camera, and asks " you pulled the mirrors out..............."

still have not worked out why she needs to move the monitor, its on the console, so its not like its in line of sight while driving

Is something happening?

Could that be a reminder for an suspicious event.....maybe....or could there be a handover in the offing?

Hi @Dobbie,
it is when expectations meet reality......

I remember it well!

Hi @Ssil2000,
keep calm, read through the brochure, look at the 3D internal view, go through the list of mods you will be doing, oh, and if you get time after that, you could take it out camping.

Enjoy the moment.

best wishes
Mike
