Just had look back at my photos from the show van, and only had a pic of the sink in the .1 which shows 2 taps. So mabe its a .1 thing as I don't think they have a battery as standard?? Also just noticed on the show van there is a small vent up under the range hood above the stove and you can see it in the pic Jimmy put above, this is not there either.

Nah they have moved it further down above where the idiot box mounts. You can see it on your photos from outside

Thanks for sharing the photos of your van @halbster they are very useful.

I like the top bunk curtain and new sink location very much. The jury is still out for me as to whether i will order one, just too many unknowns at this time for me to commit.

Good luck with delivery, hoping everything works well and you can get out there and enjoy your new toy:encouragement:

For those that are wondering about standard v extended drawbar. I took these measurements today on a Starcraft 17.58.3. They may be relevant to other 17ft Jayco's. Measurement is from right angle on drawbar to front of van (it curves in) to centre line of ball and are along the drawbar (not centre line)

Extended drawbar is 300 mm longer than standard no mater which model van you buy .

On a side note . The Silverline drawbars are now 275mm longer than the stock sterling ones . Just something we found out at the Melbourne camping show

Yeah and a few have mentioned that the Starcraft 17 is longer than before too, but I couldn't see it today. If you wanted a toolbox and the ability to really "jackknife" the van I thought the extended is required.

Was told yesterday Jayco will not relocate the gas bayonet from the front of van to the rear! Dealer wasnt sure why but had confirmed with the factory. I suspect it's because the run is so far from the nearest gas appliance to run the copper?

Also relocating the gas bottles forward by 500mm they will not do.

Looking at the window/door issue when Fabulous posted in his thread a month ago I missed the Sink/stove swap then! Even though Dave mentioned it.

attached is the layout drawing, and was confirmed by Jayco with regards to the bed lights

Here is his floorplan

Shots of 16"s on a Starcraft. They will only do 245/70-16s which are just wide enough for the rims. The 16" rims are 8" wide, the 15" rims are 6" wide.

Couple more random shots. Showing the deleted cupboard and addition of the gas vent formally behind the stove. Also location of the breakaway system and battery. Looks just enough room to get a heater exhaust past?

Standard fridge with roof a/c puts the microwave in a great spot but the trade off is the 90 litre fridge. The splash back is a great addition and appears to be glass.
