Found that the shower wall has bowed out from the wall. Another thing for the warranty list. Not sure if you'll see it in this pic down along the bottom where the shower wall overlaps the shower floor.

Ouch. Good luck with the warranty claim. I'm sure they will come to the party

Bad luck mate. That was a problem on a few expandas too, we dodged that bullet last time. Did it come out on a hot day ?

We have a tiny hairline crack in the shower base. I have shown them but not doing anything about it unless it propagates .

Do you know how they have fixed this issue in the past Jimmy? Just so I'm prepared when I take it there to get fixed.

No other issues yet Dave - touch wood.

One of two things.

They either peel it off in one piece and reseal it.

Or they peel it off and they break it in the process and then just replace the whole thing and reseal it all.

Fairly common on shower toilets had it on two vans personally.

Yes Dave the power was on, a bit of worry that, will try and have a closer look at the vent today.

crap... we had some big storms up gold coast nothing leaked there although I did not like leaving things there just incase.
Was the rain coming in sideways against the vent? You think did they add it there for gas regulations although having a vent that water can come in over a live power point you think would not be good Electrical setup :(

Here's the problem, the outside top edge of the vent has bowed out leaving a couple of mm gap in the sealant.

Warranty job mate. I have always found these things let water in when washing the van, the weather the other day was definitely wild and if that's the worse you got that pretty good. I am still out on whether to block this vent? Not sure of It's purpose now it's not over the stove , and ours doesn't have the usual warning label about keeping unrestricted blah blah.
