Got a couple of small things tidied up before we went away for the long weekend.
Used the new shower head and jeez what a pearla!! Very happy with that addition!

Shovel and rake holders mounted
I used quick fist for the shovel but and rhino rack ones for the rake being thinner .

Capped off the front tubes I slid through the chassis and press studded some mesh over the other end. For where I'll store a couple of lengths of sullage hose. That way they won't wriggle out and make me look like an octopus flapping down the road.
image.jpeg image.jpeg

As we mostly run on tank water I thought I would leave the bulky hose in the shed and bought a flat hose on a real. I am yet to try it out might be a gimmick but I'm happy it hangs out of the way behind the Webber perfectly. Also mounted the best filter opposite it , so it has a permanent home again.

Also made up an extension for the awning that slides into the afk and covers the Webber when being used.
Failed to get a pic of that while we were away though.
On the down side found a water leak while away... Hoping to get that rectified asap.

Slowly sorting everything out!

Few days ago I Had just finished organising the front tunnel boot . Darn happy with how it turned out! I Used pvc downpipe as it weighs bugger all and things slide nicely over it and stuck them all together so the don't move.
image.jpeg One end safely houses the wood splitter, broom, peg bag and rope bag. Hidden in the pic are the fishing rods sitting in the cavity beside the pipes/ below chairs.
image.jpeg Other end has the afk, three med poles for awning extension and two long poles for Webber awning.
Pipes are capped at end of poles so they can't wriggle out of reach.
Four chairs slide over the top.
image.jpeg Had to get my seven year old to push the final one all into position. I couldn't quite slide in far enough....

image.jpeg Also made up a fridge shade as it was struggling when the sun hit that wall, has made a massive difference.

Then today we go and signed up on a 19.61.3 so I guess I'll have to do it all again .

I have enjoyed all the quality mods done to the 17 and look forward to seeing more with the 19. Congrats on the upgrade.

Hi Pauly just wondering if your toolbox is gloss black or satin? I am looking at doing similar on mine. Good luck with the new van. Cheers

Well that's a bit sad but exciting at the same time .... We sold the 17.58.3 and she left our driveway tonight. We'll still see plenty of it as a mate bought it that we regularly head away with. (He's upgraded from a swan)
We weren't planing on selling it until Easter as we have a couple of trips still planned . So now I have to rig up a rooftop tent on the boat trailer to tie us over until our 19.61.3 is built. Woo hoo not long really!!
